Early life

Derrick was born in Kampala, Uganda, to Godfrey and Rosemary Walusimbi, on September 20, 1984. He's the third of ten children, and the second eldest of five boys. Raised up as a humble child, he attended Budo Junior School for his Primary Leaving Education from 1990 to 1996, and Kitante Hill School for Ordinary and Advanced level education from 1997 to 2002.
