Amateur career

Denis had a decorated amateur career, finishing with an outstanding record of 92 wins with only 9 defeats. His list of accomplishments include winning the 2007 National Police Athletic League Champion, two New York Golden Gloves

 and the 2008 National Golden Gloves Middleweight Champion. Many considered him a top candidate to represent the United States in the 2008 Olympics, but a horrific car crash prevented him from participating in the trials.

Pro career

Douglin has fought in various parts of the United States during the early part of his career. Both the media and fans have taken an interest to his story as well as his entertaining fighting style. His mother, Saphya Douglin, a former amateur boxer, is his trainer. Douglin began his career as a Middleweight

In addition to being an undefeated fighter, Douglin is attending college as an education major. He also works at his mother's gym, New Breed Boxing, as a head youth trainer.
