. The song, although it sounds as one guitar in harmony, is actually recorded on two guitars. The first, which was a nylon stringed acoustic, is the guitar which was often photographed and thought to be Randy's classical guitar. The second was a standard acoustic. He double-tracked it, recording each of the guitars twice. This lends to the ethereal sound of the track. The second (acoustic) guitar is only present for harmony parts. This is common in Randy's work as he opted to have a more layered sound than a bare solo. Randy considered the piece to be his "signature" track.

Release

The song was re-released with the studio outtakes on the Randy Rhoads Tribute album. The outtakes polarized the fans; some believed Randy wouldn't want his fans to hear the tracks because they were so raw and had yet to be finished. Others voiced that in the wake of Randy's death, it was only appropriate to release what little material was left in order to flesh out his discography.
The song was written for his mother, Delores "Dee" Rhoads.
