Since its inception, this institution has provided education to its city dwellers. The old building was donated by J K Saha in the memory of his grandfather. Under the guidance of its principal and support from all the teaching and non-teaching members of the institution it has made progress. Most of the academic activities have now shifted to the new building located in Sirsia.
