, and primarily features the band's guitarist Justin Hayward
on lead vocals. This departs from the Moody Blues' traditional method of having the song's writer sing lead vocals. Pinder ultimately wanted Hayward to sing "Dawn is a Feeling" because he liked the sound of Hayward's voice, and felt it fit the song perfectly. However, Mike Pinder
does sing the vocals during the song's bridge.
