David Shankle

David Lee Shankle is an American guitarist. He is known for his "shred" style of playing, which earned him the nickname of "the shred demon". Shankle was the guitarist for the band Manowar
from 1989 to 1995 and he played on the album The Triumph of Steel
. Today he has his own band, the David Shankle Group
, and he teaches guitar when he is not playing or recording with the group. He currently lives in Chicago, IL.
