Musical career

David's first steps as a professional musical saw him playing ski resorts in Colorado in the early 1970s.

throughout Australia. Over this period David travelled to New Zealand to play. Taken with the beauty of Waiheke Island David returned to New Zealand to live.

David devotes a lot of his time to his Charitable Trust, the “Paquette Jazz Foundation” which supports both upcoming and existing talent through a scholarship, mentoring program and a musician’s residence retreat on Waiheke Island.

David is represented by Bring It On Records based in Auckland, New Zealand
