In addition, David has appeared in numerous films and continues to perform in theatre around the country, most recently performing as Charlemagne in "Pippin" and Oscar in "The Odd Couple".

His father Lloyd encouraged him to become an actor after seeing him perform in the play, "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" at Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida. He is married and has three children. He donates his time to various charitable organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation
