Daryl Martin Godbold is a former professional footballer.
Godbold, a full-back, began his career with Norwich City
and was a member of the club's FA Youth Cup
winning team of 1983. He was unable to force his way into the first team at Carrow Road
, however, and made just two substitute appearances before moving to Colchester United
in 1984. After 9 appearances for the Layer Road
side, he moved into non-league football.
Since leaving professional football, Godbold has worked as a financial advisor and has also been involved with Norwich
's Football in the Community scheme.
