in 2002. He continued to play for the Blackhawks until the end of the 2006 Victorian Senior A season. In 2007 Croft took a year long break from ice hockey but returned in 2008, signing with the Melbourne Jets of the Victorian Premier A league. He played 13 games for the Jets and recorded eight points for the season. The following season Croft moved to the Melbourne Rangers of the same league. Croft remained with the Rangers for the 2009 and 2010 season competing in a total of 39 games for the club. In 2011 Croft signed on with the Melbourne Ice

as a rookie. During his debut season with the Ice Croft played in 14 regular season games, and recorded two assists.
In 2002 Croft received a call-up to the Australian national team to compete in the 2002 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament being held in Cape Town
