Plot synopsis
A professional diver tutor Brady (Brown) returns to deep waters after nine years following an almost fatal encounter with a great white shark, bringing a happy couple Kate (Berry) and Jeff (Martinez). Production
Production began in December 2010. Stockwell chose Berry to play Kate as he believed the character should be black. He also disagreed with the choice of Brown to play Brady, as he believed that he should be played by an American actor, but he later announced that he was accepting Brown for his ability to put on a strong American accent.
