Stevens returned home after the 2011 Finnish season and signed with his hometown Syracuse Silver Knights of the Major Indoor Soccer League on October 25, 2011.

Youth career
Stevens is a youth product of the Syracuse Blitz Football Club. He Began his college career at SUNY Oneonta competing for the Red Dragons from 2004-2005. After his sophomore season Stevens Transferred to University at Buffalo. As a Junior for the Bulls he led the team and the Mid American Conference in assists while garnering 2nd team All-Conference and All-Tournament Team. As a senior he was voted team MVP and earned 1st Team All-Conference and All-Tournament Team while Captaining the Bulls to the MAC championship game.Senior Career
