Dal Khalsa UK, as with the wider Dal Khalsa (International), believes in freedom as a goal in the form of a separate nation of Khalistan for the Sikh Nation. Members see Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa (Bhindranwale) as one of the main iconic Sikh figures from which the organisation draws inspiration, alongside Bhai Gajinder Singh, founder of Dal Khalsa (International), who has been in exile since 1981.

Events

Dal Khalsa UK, alongside other major Sikh groups , organise a remembrance march and freedom rally in Central London every June to mark the Sikh genocide in 1984, which attracts around 50,000 Sikhs every year.
Dal Khalsa UK holds a Sikh Youth Football Tournament inconjunction with British Sikh Student Federation (B.S.S.F)  every year in London, which brings Sikh youths of all ages together from across the UK. The aim is to have fun, raise money for charity, and educate the youth on their Sikhi and alert them to dangers that can harm them as well as the community as a whole. Alongside the supremacy of the Sikhs' highest authority, Sri Akal Takht Sahib Dal Khalsa, the group believes in educating the younger generation in the Sikh ideology as well as social dangers such as drink and drugs.
