The Korea Express is well-known for its orange trucks, also known as cargo trucks (hence the company nickname "Big Orange"). The orange color that KOREX name uses on its vehicles and uniforms is called Tropical colored orange, after the cargo truck which used the same color. . Historically, KOREX name only faced competition from Korail for the inexpensive ground based delivery market. However, Hanjin recently expanded into the ground market by acquiring RPS (originally Roadway Package System) and rebranded it as Hanjin Ground. In addition, Koryeo Golden Box acquired Korail. This acquisition significantly increases Hanjin presence in the Korea which will add more competition to the ground delivery market.
