. The predecessor was Đà Nẵng Polytechnic University, a public university established in 1976. In 1994, the Faculty of Economics of Đà Nẵng Polytechnic University was split off to found the Đà Nẵng University of Economics (ĐUE). Founded in 1994, the ĐUE is the earliest and largest university of economics in central Vietnam. The campus is located in Đà Nẵng, a beautiful and dynamic major port city in Vietnam. Đà Nẵng University of Economics now includes eight main faculties:
