D2 is a jeans and casualwear retailing company operating in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. The company was formed in spring 1999 from a combination of the Fosters Menswear, part of the Jeanster casualwear chain, and Jeans for Sale by Sir Tom Hunter

Administration

would try and find a buyer. James Stephen, co-administrator at BDO, said: “It is unfortunate that the economic climate and difficult trading conditions have significantly affected the retail sector. We are continuing to trade the business and hope to sell all or part of it as a going concern.”

D2 exited administration in 2010 after a management buyout and trades under the d2 brand still owned by A and J menswear
