cVidya was founded in 2001 by Alon Aginsky in the US and saw successful beta projects at Telecom Italia

Between 2004–2010 cVidya launched multiple products and services. Their first product, the MoneyMap® Revenue Assurance product, was followed closely by the MoneyMap/Usage. cVidya then moved into Revenue Assurance Consulting services in addition to launching their MoneyMap/RBV product and EZTrust®. cVidya also saw the expansion of its DealerMap® install base. This period saw cVidya's global market penetration which began with their entrance into Europe followed closely by LATAM, APAC, North America and Africa.

cVidya’s acquisition of ECtel in 2010 was a major milestone for the company. By acquiring the larger, publicly traded company and through consolidating their product portfolios cVidya created a new space: Revenue Intelligence, which led to the launch of the IRIS® (Integrated Revenue Intelligence Solutions) suite..
