Cuddle was recorded, mixed, and all that, in 4 hours at Art of Ears located in San Francisco, on May 29 1988. This record was originally released on Off The Disk in Switzerland in 1988. So many people kept demanding copies that eventually the band re-released it on their own Slap A Ham Records.
