Crowbar was recorded in New Orleans in 1992 by Crowbar. The album went on to sell 100,000 copies on the independent label Pavement Music (now defunct). The singles "All I Had (I Gave)" and "Existence Is Punishment" propelled the band on MTV and achieved international attention. The album was produced by childhood friend of Crowbar founder Kirk Windstein
