Cressbrook Dam has a surface area of 517 hectares with a total capacity of 81,842 mega-litres when full (78,847 ML usable) at an average depth of 15.8 meters. The catchment also contains Perseverance Dam, which is located 10 km upstream of Cressbrook.

Current Water Levels

Due to several years of below average rainfall the usable storage capacity of Cressbrook Dam is currently 27.9% or 22,022 ML capacity (as of 14 October 2010) and as a result Toowoomba is under high level water restrictions.
