Coyne College is a for-profit
college with two campuses located in the United States in Chicago, Illinois. Coyne American Institute has provided technical training in Chicago Since January 1899. Coyne American Institute was established as the Coyne Electrical School of Chicago.
In 1960s, the Coyne Electrical School merged with the American Institute of Engineering and Technology to become Coyne American Institute. Coyne American Institute and its predecessor schools have trained and placed thousands of students in professional careers.

Medical Assistant Diploma
Program includes training to learn appointment scheduling, medical record management, medical terminology, computer applications, and front office skills.

Program includes training skills to succeed in a variety of health care related careers, including medical front office assistant, receptionist, medical billing and collections clerk, appointment scheduler or medical records clerk, in a variety of healthcare settings.

Coyne Loop's Medical Assisting and Medical Assistant programs are accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), making Coyne 1 of only 3 allied health schools in Illinois that holds this programmatic accreditation.
Coyne American Institute is seeking accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association. The program has submitted an Application for Candidacy of a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program which is the formal application required in the pre-accreditation stage. Submission of this document does not assure that the program will be granted candidate for accreditation status nor does it assure that the program will be granted initial accreditation.
The Imagine America Scholarship program is coordinated by the Imagine America Foundation in Washington, D.C. Every public and private high school in the United States may issue three scholarships annually to graduating seniors who will be attending a proprietary school or college. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact their high school counselor.

The Alderman Walter J. Burnett, Jr. 27th Ward Scholarship Program is coordinated by Coyne American Institute. A limited number of awards are available annually to residents of Chicago’s 27th Ward. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact a Coyne admissions representative.
