On March 11th, 2011, Megan Moye became Cosby's first All-American by placing 6th in the 2 mile run at the New Balance Indoor Nationals. Her time was 10:32.89.
On June 3rd, 2011, Megan Moye became the state champion in Outdoor Track in the 1600m run. She ran a 4:48.21, breaking the state meet record.

In 2010, Cosby's Competitive Cheerleading team won the school's first VHSL AAA State Championship. The Cosby Cheerleaders, in addition to winning the fourth straight Central VA SpiritFest competition in Charlottesville, won the "Triple Crown" in VHSL competition: Dominion District, Central Region, and State Championship.
