History

The club was formed in 1925 as a result of an amalgamation between Corofin and nearby Belclare. Corofin have enjoyed prolonged success over the 90's and 00's. The club has won ten Galway Senior Football Championship titles since 1991 along with five Connacht Senior Club Football Championship
