Biography

Cornelie van Oosterzee was born in Batavia, now Jakarta

. She began piano lessons at the age of 16 and later studied music theory with Willem Nicolaï. Her studies ended when her family moved to the Dutch East Indies

Works

Van Oosterzee wrote songs and an opera. She also composed music for choral ensemble, chamber ensemble and orchestra. Selected works include:
