The school district has been known for good academic achievements, including the National Junior's Science Fair held in the Lebanon Fairgrounds, and Expo Center, and the Honor Roll achievements list was better than almost any other school in South Central Pennsylvania.

Cornwall-Lebanon School District was ranked 98th out of 497 Pennsylvania school districts in 2010 by the Pittsburgh Business Times. The ranking was based on three years of student academic achievement on the PSSA
