  • The area under the Kanthi municipality, the Kanthi–I block, and the gram panchayat

    s of Durmuth and Kusumpur under the Kanthi–III block will together form the Kanthi Dakshin assembly constituency of West Bengal.
  • The other six gram panchayats under the Kanthi–III block — Brajachauli, Kumirda, Lauda, Debendra, Kanaidighi and Marishda — will be part of the Kanthi Uttar assembly constituency along with the area under the Kanthi–II block.
  • The Ramnagar–I block and the Ramnagar–II block will together define the area under the Ramnagar assembly constituency.
  • The Khejuri–I block and the Khejuri–II block will be part of the area defining the Khejuri assembly constituency.
  • The Khejuri constituency will be reserved for Scheduled castes (SC) candidates.
  • All the four constituencies will be assembly segments of the Kanthi (Lok Sabha constituency).
