Consort Shu

The Consort Shu (1728– 4 July 1777), was a concubine of the Qianlong Emperor, who ruled China from 1735 till 1796.
In 1741, during the sixth year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, the fourteen years old Lady Yehenara entered the Forbidden City
.
Lady Yehenara was chosen to stay during the elections held for the emperors harem. She was given the title Worthy Lady (the sixth lowest rank among an emperor's wives). In November the same year, Lady Yehenara was elevated to an Imperial Concubine, and was given the title Shu (舒; meaning comfort). In April during the fourteenth year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1749), Lady Yehenara was promoted to a consort. In 1751 she gave birth to a son, Prince Yong Yue (永玥), who died in infancy.
Lady Yehenara died on July 4, during the forty-second year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, aged 49. She was interred int eh Yuling mausoleum for imperial concubines in Hebei

Biography
Consort Shu née Yehenara (叶赫那拉氏) was Manchu of origin and was the daughter of Assitant Minister Yǒng Shòu (永绶). She was born in the sixth year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign on the first day of the sixth month.In 1741, during the sixth year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, the fourteen years old Lady Yehenara entered the Forbidden City
