Doyle was called up to the U.S.A Under 20 squad for their training camp in mid December. In January 2011, he was called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad to face Cyprus. International rules state Doyle can play for both Ireland and U.S.A below full senior level, and in December he revealed he was yet to make a final decision on which country he will represent.Doyle was called up to the United States U-20 squad for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in March-April.
