The song is about how Tevin is confused about his feelings for a girl and the feelings he shares for that girl. In the beginning of the song, he confesses, "Everyday I see her in school and she always has such a nice smile and for some reason she makes me smile too." Then the song starts and he sings about how he dreams of places he has never been to and that the feeling is so real that it blows his mind. When the chorus comes in he explains, "I'm so confused about the way I feel" and he asks the girl to be patient and that he will be true to her when the time comes. He hopes he will know what to do when the time comes to be with the girl.

Charts

Chart success wasn't particularly high as in previous singles and it was the first single in Campbell's career that he did not enter the Hot 100. However, the song was a minor R&B hit in the beginning of 1993 peaking at #33 on the R&B charts.
