. The school is the only Lutheran high school in Austin. Concordia High School shares its campus with St. Paul Lutheran School and Church. Due to the religious nature of the school, religion plays a significant role in the education, and the school is also noted for its music program.

According to the school's website,

"Concordia Academy is a college prep school that is designed to give students the education they need to be leaders in society. While at school, students will be challenged to grow academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Concordia Academy students have opportunity to participate in an excellent sports program, learn in a challenging classroom environment and have access to real-world experiences. Students who meet the academic requirements during their junior and senior year may take Advanced Placement (AP)Courses."


The AP courses offered in the 2011-2012 school year are: AP English, AP Calculus, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Physics, and AP US History. Currently nine sports are offered: dance, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, flag football, and track.
