The company was set up by Terry Prone and Tom Savage following the resignation of former MD Terry Prone . Many Carr staff left the organisation to join the Communications Clinic, including the company's Head of Training, Hilary Kenny, former General Manager Anton Savage and former Head of Public Relations Gerard Kenny
In May 2008 the Communications Clinic announced a partnership with the Gaelic Players Association
