The Colombian football league system is a series of interconnected football leagues for clubs in Colombia, and is governed by the Colombian Football Federation
at the national level.

Promotion & relegation
After the tournaments finish at the end of the calendar year, teams are relegated or promoted to different levels. The bottom team in Primera A is relegated to Primera B. Conversely, the top team of Primera B is promoted to Primera A. Due to economic issues, there is no relegation or promotion between Primera B and Primera C since 2003.Current system
