The First US Coins

The first US coin was made in 1792. They traded it for other objects such as food, or needed supplies. The first US coins were made out of copper,
silver, and gold. They were made starting with a basic design.
Then they made a plaster model of the design. After the model was the way they wanted it, they duplicated it with copper, silver, or gold.
