. It shared a joint Sixth Form with Thurleston High School until July 2010, when their sixth form closed. In a recent OFSTED report, the school was rated as ' Good' and has specialist Humanities status.
Last year, GCSE grades at the school improved significantly, bringing the 5 A*-C percentage up to 76%, well above the national and local averages.
