 since 1995. The current Artistic and General Director is Claudia Durgnat.

The most appropriate translation of the festival name is "Cinema On Any Screen," due to CTE's celebration of multiple screen formats with which films can be watched and/or made. It is thus divided into sections that focus on cinema, television, and New Media

, the latter section known as "Nouveaux Ecrans" or "New Screens". In addition to the competition that awards short films and feature films in these categories, the festival also hosts masterclasses, conferences, and workshops featuring industry professionals.

Its main venue is the Maison des Arts du Grütli, but the 2010 festival, taking place on 1-7 November, will also be incorporating Geneva's "Uptown".
