In 1975 the homeowner's association was incorporated and the first house was constructed. The home values remained stable through the oil bust and the late-2000s recession. Veronica Mullenix, the owner of Veronica Mullenix Real Estate Group, said "“I think it’s pride of ownership more than anything else." The last house in the community was built in the early 1990s; the subdivision is now built out.
