whose sole act to date has been playing bass guitar
with the Seattle-based grunge
/metal
band My Sister's Machine
, which he co-founded in 1989 along with former members of the bands Mistrust
and Alice N' Chains. The band recorded and released two albums, Diva
and Wallflower
, before disbanding in 1994. Ivanovich is credited for co-writing the band’s final single “Enemy”, which was included on the compilation album
Hard Music, Volume 1, along with a few other songs from their catalog. He also contributed some of the artwork
to the record sleeves for both albums. While the rest of the band continued to record and perform with other acts after the break-up, Ivanovich has focused strictly on other interests outside of music according to their MySpace
page. However, he still keeps in touch with his former bandmates and was present when My Sister’s Machine reunited for a couple shows in 2010, culminating with them headlining the Layne Staley Tribute and Benefit Concert
that year. Since that show, the band have continued performing at various other charitable events around the Seattle area.
