 who ended his stint as Breakfast presenter at the end of 2009. The programme airs from 6:30am to 9:30am on weekdays It was confirmed on 7 September that Evans would succeed Wogan when he retired as presenter of the breakfast show in December. On 6 January 2010, it was announced that Moira Stuart

 was mysteriously absent from the Chris Evans Breakfast show from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th June 2011. It was revealed on Friday 17th June that he had been away revising for and taking an Open University exam in English Literature as he would be leaving the show on July 8th 2011 in order to become a teacher. Saunders was replaced by Vassos Alexander when the team returned on 25th July 2011.
