He was brought in to lead Currencies & Commodities in February 2009. In June 2009 he was appointed CEO and Chairman of UBS AG, Asia Pacific in June 2009, succeeding Rory Tapner
. He was made a member of the UBS Group Executive Board at that time. His role is to lead UBS' Securities business in the APAC region.
