Chesham Vale has many facilities for such a small area. It includes a large wood, a petrol station, a gift shop, a barbers shop, a recreation ground, a small farm and a pub called The Nash Arms. There was a local post office

 in the area but it closed several years ago. The nearest post office

Frances Wood

The large wood is called Frances Wood. To enter it from Chesham Vale you have to climb a steep hill. It can also be accessed from Ashley Green

and further down the valley. Part of the wood is private but there is a large section opened to the public. The wood is popular among dog owners and bike riders.

The Nash Recreation Ground

The Nash Recreation Ground, also known as The Nash is popular in the community. It has a play area for younger children which includes swings, a slide and a roundabout. It also has a goal post for informal football matches. The recreation ground is also on a steep hill.

Roads in the area

All the roads in Chesham Vale are residential. They include Vale Road, Greenway, Long Meadow, Glenister Road, Abbots Vale and Vale Rise.
