He is a keen sportsman and has ran several marathons benefiting variable charities.

In 2010, he appeared on Lopez Tonight with his co-star Booboo Stewart.

His younger sister is Lydia Rose Bewley, also an actor and recently appeared in The Inbetweeners Movie. His two brothers, James and Andrew, are also pursuing careers in the performing arts.
