History

Centro Surfers Paradise began as the Paradise Centre, which owned the shopping centre as well as two apartment buildings. In mid 2004, the Paradise Centre was sold to the Centro Management Company and was rebranded as Centro Surfers Paradise. The two apartment buildings were sold to a different company.

Centro Surfers Paradise has become an iconic part of Surfers Paradise, and is most popular with the tourists.
