Central Valley School District (Pennsylvania)

The Central Valley School District was established on July 1, 2009. It is comprised of the former Center Area and Monaca school districts, and includes the municipalities of Center Township, Potter Township, and Monaca Borough. The CVSD represents the first “Voluntary” merger of public school districts in the State of Pennsylvania.
There are approximately 18,000 residents living throughout the Central Valley School District communities. Student enrollment is approximately 2500, and our school taxes are nearly the lowest in Beaver County. The Central Valley School District’s holds a valuable reputation for high academic performance and serves as one of the finest quality-of-life communities in Beaver County . Along with excellence in the classroom, a plethora of extracurricular activities in sports, arts, and student clubs are part of the District’s commitment to educating the whole child.
