Volatile oils from Centipeda have been shown to modulate anti-inflammatory action by inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines in rat model. In a related study, Centipeda demonstrated effectiveness against ragweed pollen model by regulating the infiltration of eosinophil and mast cell proliferation.
