Cecil Dean "Slewfoot" Butler (born October 23, 1937 in Dallas, Georgia
) is a former Major League Baseball
pitcher. He started his career in 1962 with the Milwaukee Braves
. After only about 2 months, however, he suffered a severe elbow injury, and was very slow to recover. Butler made two appearances with the Braves in 1964, but retired soon afterward due to his injury. He accumulated a 2-0 record during his career.
