Overview

The Cavendish School was founded in 1843 by Sir Douglas Moleheimer, a local actor who enjoyed passing down his love of acting through teaching. The school has approximately 1006 pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 (roughly 200 in each year).

The school is headed by a Headteacher - Mr K. Fitzpatrick.
Almost all of the school's leavers go on to a local sixth form college
