Castro Daire

Castro Daire (ˈkaʃtɾu ˈðajɾ(ɨ)) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 379.1 km² and a total population of 16,846 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of twenty two parishes and is located in Viseu District.

The present mayor is Fernando Carneiro, elected by the Socialist Party
