The village is reached from Templemore by taking the R433 road out of Templemore and turning right onto the R502 approximately one kilometre outside Templemore. One then crosses the bridge over the Dublin to Cork railway and takes the first right turn onto local road L3205, which takes one towards Castleiney village.
