. The park contained several different courses of miniature golf, all with elaborately built decorations and structures. The most memorable two being a small windmill and small castle standing at the front of the park on each side, interacting with the putt-putt golf holes.

 stood in the background of the park, behind the miniature golf course. The castle housed several arcade and boardwalk games; as well as a concession and food area. The restrooms with small locker areas were also housed inside the complex. Outside, the park had an area for small motor boats. Two separate loading lanes were incorporated into the pool for this activity. The batting cage circle was right next to the mini-boats.

 area and not too far from downtown Houston, the park would operate until the early 2000s.

During the early 1980s a Malibu Grand Prix

 opened up a go-kart

track next to Castle Golf and Games. During the late 1990s, Werk, Inc. would take over Malibu Grand Prix, dubbing it with the name Funwerks. In early 2004, Werks, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was forced to close their establishments.

By 2005, both Castle Golf and Games and Funwerks (formerly Malibu Grand Prix) closed the doors for good. Demolition of both areas started in 2007. All putt-putt holes were demolished and leveled, and the go-kart track was torn up, leaving behind big blocks of concrete.

During 2008, revitalization of the area commenced by clearing out all debris and making room for what was observed to be landscaping and building supplies.
