Cass Park Historic District is a historic district

, comprising the streets of Temple, Ledyard, and 2nd, surrounding Cass Park. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places
in 2005.
Three major buildings are located in the Cass Park Historic District: the Detroit Masonic Temple
(on the north side; built in 1926), the S. S. Kresge World Headquarters (on the west side; built in 1928), and the newer Cass Technical High School
(on the southside; built in 2005). Other buildings in the district range from a large Victorian house to 1890s-1920s apartment buildings to a hotel. The park itself is a formal square with angled paths and scattered statues.
